Our trip passes perfectly. Autumn weather is very pleasant, Rose seems to be satisfied with walks in the Old Continent, and I am catching up with social and family life.
The flight went without any major problems. I did not really watch movies, because I was resting with sleeping baby, and for the first time I did not have big jet-lag.
On the way we stopped in Denver and London. Rose loved sleeping in the hotel (could it be that she takes after Mommy?:), so much that we had to rush for the plane to Warsaw!
In Krakow, we take a lot of walks. The view from the stroller provides more trees with leaves, horse drawn carriages and sometimes little rain clouds. I, on the other hand, find it more difficult than in the US to sit by myself for a coffee with the stroller. Krakow’s old architecture does not make life easy for newborns and moms, who might have problems with entry stairs, or changing tables located in the basement. In London, we had a problem exiting with luggage from the tube station. Contrary to our presumptions, not every station had an elevator.
Taking advantage of Grandparents’ babysitting skills, we managed to go out for a cup of coffee and even to the cinema! We saw Everest. After this emotional movie, it was nice to come back to take care of our little one 🙂
We also plan to visit Zakopane – my favorite, and on the way back we planned one afternoon in Warsaw.
Now, I am off to shopping with my sister in Galeria Krakowska! Life is good 🙂
